What is Glaucoma?
Glaucoma is a group of eye diseases that all lead to progressive degeneration of the optic nerve. This loss of nerve tissue results in irreversible loss of vision and potential blindness if not detected early and treated. Our optometrists will help determine the type of glaucoma you have, or are at risk of developing, and allow us to manage/co-manage your case. We will work very closely with local ophthalmologists to give you the best care possible.
