The Canadian Association of Optometrists recommends yearly comprehensive ocular examinations for anyone over the age of 65. Our eyes continuously change throughout our entire lives, but these changes accelerate once we become seniors. By staying on top of your senior eye exams, we can detect and diagnose eye disease or changes to vision before they become life changing. Many eye disease, including glaucoma, can be managed if detected early enough, but unfortunately can cause permanent vision loss if it is left undiagnosed.
